When the founders of Path Project, Jim and Melinda, set up a meeting with Oxford College to discuss volunteer opportunities for its college students, they would soon find out that God had another plan in mind! Minutes before the meeting, a local school teacher called Oxford College asking for tutoring help for students living in the Riversides Estates Mobile Home Park. This call sparked a plan for the local community, and six months later, a weekly program began in an open air pavilion where kids came regardless of the cold, rain, and even snow. Eventually, Path Project was able to purchase a small office trailer that a group of local men generously renovated. Riverside Estates programs are now packed out each week with thriving students and college volunteers!
