Path Project volunteers are serve as role models and make it possible for children to receive individualized encouragement and support. Volunteers don’t need to be trained as a teacher or even know the latest way to do math. Volunteers just need to be there, smile, ask questions, and offer encouragement. Those are the things that matter most and have a lasting impact.

CHURCHES

CHURCHES

Church partners help us spread the word about the awesome kids in our programs and connect us with caring volunteers. They also help meet specific needs like collecting snacks and school supplies or renovating and maintaining our facilities. We are thankful for the prayer support that we know is coming from our church partners.

Many of our partner churches invite us to bring groups of our students to VBS, Sports Camp, or special events. The kids in our programs build positive relationships during these visits that continue for years.

SCHOOLS

SCHOOLS

We firmly believe that every child in our program has access to a great education. We strive to equip kids with the skills they need to be ready for and successful in school. For this reason, we are always thankful for input and feedback from our local school partners. Schools frequently let us know about upcoming meetings or specific needs that we can promote and support in the neighborhoods. We’ve partnered with school leaders in many different ways and we’re always open to exploring new and creative ways to help at-risk children be successful.

BUSINESSES

Local business partnerships are an incredible resource for Path Project. They provide PP kids the opportunity to be in the community and learn new things in a safe environment. Our kids love visiting with local businesses, trying new things, and asking questions. The possibility of an exciting career can provide motivation to work hard and stay in school.

Some business partners like to work behind the scenes by offering to donate refurbished computers, collecting and donating snacks or school supplies, or sponsoring a fundraising event. There are lots of creative ways that businesses can be involved.  We’d love to brainstorm ways that your business can get involved.
