Gwinnett Estates began simply as a friendship between the founders of Path Project, Jim and Melinda Hollandsworth, and the Ramirez family who lived in the community. Through this friendship, a weekly homework program organically evolved that grew larger each week under the name Hope Center. Over time, the programs in Gwinnett Estates became more structured and positive changes began to be evident. Out of this, Path Project emerged with a DNA embedded in lessons learned and a solid framework for each new community launch.
Bay Creek began as a partnership with First Baptist Loganville. FBCL continues to be an active partner, sending volunteers and providing resources while Path Project oversees the day to day operations of the community. Bay Creek is tight knit community filled with energetic kids who have been lovingly adopted by a local Sunday School class who makes sure needs are met and that Bay Creek is covered in prayer.
